F.A.Q

Where is the wedding taking place?

The wedding will be at Clonabreany House, a beautiful Georgian estate in County Meath, Ireland, about 1 hour from Dublin Airport.

What are the dates?

  • Monday, June 15 – Welcome Dinner

  • Tuesday, June 16 – Wedding Day

  • Wednesday, June 17 – Hangover BBQ and Farewell

    • Do we stay Wednesday night? Up to you! The bar will be open Wednesday during the Hangover BBQ, so if you plan on drinkin’ might be best to stay! The bride & groom will be staying Wednesday night.

Where will we stay?

Guests will stay in charming Georgian courtyard houses on the estate. Each house sleeps 6–14 people and includes cozy common spaces like a kitchen and living room. Every guest will have their own private bedroom. Rooms range from $190–$300 per night, depending on en-suite options.

How do I book my room?

Our RSVP response form has questions regarding the number of nights you’d like to stay and the number of guests/beds you’ll need. Due to the unique accommodations Clonabreany House offers, once you RSVP, we send Clonabreany your email and they will directly reach out to you to reserve your rooms.

The courtyard houses host 6-14 guests, and it’s up to the bride and groom to organize who is staying in which house. Don’t worry, we won’t group any random guests together! However, if you are not comfortable sharing a house with other guests, please consider organizing your own accommodations.

Are meals included?

  • Breakfast is included each morning.

  • Dinner on Monday night is part of the Welcome Party.

  • Dinner will be served at the reception along with a midnight snack.

  • Wednesday features a late Hangover Brunch followed by the bar reopening.
(The bar will be open throughout the three days for plenty of craic and celebration.)

What if I don’t want to stay at Clonabreany?

If you’re not interested in staying on-site, you will be required to find your own accommodations for your trip!

What is the dress code?

Welcome Party: Snappy casual.

Wedding: Cocktail attire or anything that would make Ellie’s mother proud (and definitely not mad!). Think elegant, festive, and fun.

Hangover BBQ: Whatever you can get on to get you out of bed.

How do I get to Clonabreany House?

Once you RSVP and share your flight details, we will:

  • Organize one group bus pickup from Dublin Airport on Monday, June 15.

  • Provide details for public bus options.

  • Share info on car hire (around €50–€70 per day) and taxi/Uber (around €120–€150 one way).

Which airport should I fly into?

Fly into Dublin Airport (DUB). It’s the closest major airport and offers U.S. Customs Preclearance for your return trip.

When should I book flights?

  • Book as soon as you RSVP! June is the most popular month to visit Ireland, and the most likely month to see the sun!

  • Be sure to submit your flight information, using the tab labeled “Submit Flight Info” as soon as possible.

  • Aer Lingus, Delta, United, and American Airlines all offer good options.

  • Expect round-trip fares from $400–$1,000.

What should I pack?

Ireland in June is mild but unpredictable. Bring:

  • Layers for cool evenings

  • Comfortable shoes for exploring

  • A rain jacket (just in case)

  • Fun outfit for the welcome party

  • Wedding attire for the big day

  • A hangover outfit for Wednesday

Where are you registered? How can I send a gift?

Please don’t, we know we’re asking enough of our family and friends by having a destination wedding. We have all the knives and forks we could ever need, I promise.

If you feel determined to give us a gift, reach out to Ellie directly so she can dissuade you.

Your presence is present enough!
